Are you an experienced Quality Assurance professional with a strong background in, residential, or complex care? We are working with a respected and forward-thinking care group seeking a Head of Quality Assurance to oversee and enhance quality standards across their Somerset and Devon portfolios. In addition to leading quality initiatives, this role will also include acting as an Area Manager for 1-2 homes to maintain hands-on operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee quality assurance activities across multiple sites.
- Train and mentor Home Managers and staff, ensuring high standards in residential and complex care.
- Develop and implement action plans to address compliance and operational challenges.
- Conduct audits and site visits to monitor regulatory adherence and care excellence.
- Provide strategic reports and improvement recommendations to the leadership team.
- Act as Area Manager for 1-2 homes, ensuring strong day-to-day operations and staff support.
- Work collaboratively with the Operations Team to provide additional home coverage when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in multi-site management or leading a large care home with multiple wings.
- Strong background in nursing, residential, or complex care.
- Experience with home turnaround or new service development.
- Proven ability to train and mentor care professionals.
- Robust clinical knowledge with a willingness to continue professional development.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
What’s on Offer:
- Competitive salary: £60,000 - £67,000 (dependent on experience).
- 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays).
- Travel expenses covered (mileage reimbursement).
- Permanent, full-time role (42.5 hours per week).
