Lead Strategic Growth in a Values-Driven Organisation

Our client, a well-established provider of high-quality residential and dementia care services, is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Sales & Marketing Director to lead private occupancy growth across multiple care homes.

This is a key strategic appointment offering the opportunity to shape and deliver a focused growth plan within the private care sector. The role covers a portfolio of services across the South and East of England.


Role Overview:

The successful candidate will lead on all aspects of sales and marketing strategy across the private market, with a focus on increasing occupancy, enhancing brand visibility, and strengthening referral networks. This is a high-impact, multi-site role requiring a blend of strategic vision and hands-on delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive private market strategy aligned with company growth objectives

  • Lead on occupancy development initiatives across a portfolio of care homes

  • Identify new business opportunities through relationship-building with healthcare professionals, referrers, and local influencers

  • Oversee and manage digital and offline marketing campaigns to support visibility and engagement

  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and positioning

  • Collaborate with regional and operational teams to ensure cohesive delivery and shared targets


Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in a senior-level sales or marketing role within the health or social care sector (private market experience essential)

  • Strong track record of driving growth and improving market position

  • Commercially astute with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent communication and networking abilities

  • Willingness to travel across the region as required
