Operations Director – Care Homes (South)
Salary: £100,000 + Bonus & Benefits
Location: South of England (covering 7 homes)
I’m working with a leading care group that is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee 7 homes across the South of England. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that has already invested heavily in its homes, creating modern, stylish environments with state-of-the-art facilities. Now, they’re focused on raising care quality and clinical standards, and they need a proven leader to drive this transformation.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take full operational responsibility for 7 homes, with a clear focus on improving care quality, compliance, and overall performance. Your key responsibilities will include:

Implementing and embedding quality improvement strategies.

Supporting and developing Home Managers to enhance care delivery.

Ensuring homes consistently meet and exceed regulatory standards.

Driving occupancy, financial performance, and team engagement.

Fostering a positive, resident-centred culture across all sites.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a seasoned regional or operations leader with a strong track record in the care home sector. While being a qualified nurse is a plus, the most critical factor is your proven experience in driving quality improvements across a multi-site portfolio. You’ll bring:

Senior operational experience within the care home sector (regional or director-level).

A strong background in turning around and improving care standards.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.

A deep understanding of CQC regulations and compliance.
