Nurse Care Manager Weybridge, Surrey | Full Time, Permanent An established care home in Weybridge is looking to appoint an experienced Nurse Care Manager to lead its nursing service. This is a significant leadership opportunity for a qualified RGN who has previously managed a sizeable nursing team within a busy residential or nursing care setting. The home is large, with a varied resident population and a significant volume of Funded Nursing Care (FNC) applications. You will guide the transition to a new in-house nursing model, setting clear clinical standards and supporting the wider team to deliver safe, person-centred care throughout. Key Responsibilities - Leading and developing the nursing team to maintain high standards of clinical care - Overseeing the FNC assessment and application process - Driving the implementation of a new in-house nursing model - Ensuring safe, person-centred care is delivered consistently across the home - Participating in the Duty Manager rota - Upholding regulatory and governance standards across the nursing service Essential Requirements - Current NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) - Proven experience managing a nursing service within a care home environment - Strong clinical judgement and the ability to lead confidently under pressure - Experience with FNC assessments would be an advantage - Effective communication and team leadership skills Working Pattern This is a Monday to Friday position with Duty Manager rota cover. Salary £50,000 to £58,000 per annum, depending on experience.
