Are you an experienced Home Manager with a proven track record of turning around underperforming care homes?

We are seeking an Interim Home Manager to lead and stabilize a recently acquired care home in Newcastle. This is a hands-on role for a skilled leader who thrives in challenging environments and is driven by achieving meaningful change.

About the Role

As Interim Home Manager, you will:

  • Take immediate leadership of the home to address areas requiring improvement.
  • Develop and execute a robust turnaround plan to enhance care quality, compliance, and team performance.
  • Provide strong leadership to the team, fostering a positive and proactive culture.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and regulatory bodies to restore confidence in the home.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and operational standards.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Substantial experience in managing care homes, ideally in turnaround or interim roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and care standards.
  • Strong leadership and crisis management skills.
  • A track record of delivering rapid improvements in compliance and care quality.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A nursing qualification (preferred but not essential).
