Home Manager – Residential & Dementia Care

We're looking for an experienced and dedicated Home Manager to lead a well-regarded 76-bed residential and dementia care home in Ipswich. Recently rated Good by CQC, the home has a solid foundation but now needs a strong, stable leader to guide it forward.
The Role:
- Provide strong, stable leadership to the care team, creating a motivated and positive culture where staff feel valued
- Recruit, develop and retain a diverse team to deliver outstanding residential and dementia care
- Work closely with the Customer Relationship Manager to increase occupancy, develop community partnerships and strengthen the home's reputation
- Build lasting relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and the local community
- Ensure regulatory compliance, maintain the highest standards of care, and create a consistently positive resident experience
- Drive long-term improvements, focusing on recruitment and staff retention
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Home Manager in residential or dementia care
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of building stable teams
- Commercial awareness and ability to balance exceptional care quality with occupancy and financial performance
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Genuine passion for person-centred care and commitment to providing stability and consistency in leadership
