We are working with a well-established care provider to appoint an experienced Home Manager for a medium-sized residential dementia care home near Ilkeston.
This is a stable, well-run service with strong foundations and a long-serving team. The opportunity suits a Home Manager who enjoys bringing a fresh pair of eyes, strengthening local relationships and increasing visibility within the local community, rather than stepping into a turnaround environment.

The role
• Full accountability for the day-to-day leadership of the home
• Building team engagement and maintaining a positive, inclusive culture
• Increasing the home’s profile through local networking and community involvement
• Supporting steady, sustainable occupancy growth
• Maintaining compliance and quality standards
• Working with autonomy while aligning with group expectations
• Confident use of digital care and management systems
The person
• Experienced Home Manager with a good track record
• Strong background in residential dementia care
• Level 5 qualification achieved or working towards
• Positive, visible and people-focused leadership style
• Able to engage confidently with families, professionals and the local community
• Comfortable building momentum without the need for radical change
